Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
We founded Caring Places for Seniors and we look for the right senior living homes for seniors based on their preference, level of care, cost, and desired location.   Our service is FREE and our referral agent is certified by the State of CA Dept. of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, RCFE Cert. # 6034007740 (a background check was done & to confirm, please contact them at 619-767-2300)

How does this work?
When a Senior or their family member contacts us, the first thing we do is ask the important questions that allow us to research the available senior living homes, residential care facilities, assisted living or memory care communities that might best be suited for the seniors. Based on our interview and assessment of your individual needs, we will tailor our search to find the homes that meet your criteria. We consider your case carefully in order to find what’s best for you.

We respect your privacy.  We will not share any personal information pertaining to the senior until we have received an authorization to disclose that information.

Why is your service free?
We are paid by communities (one time only) who allow us to refer their community.  We are not paid for helping anyone on low-income.  Our goal is to help everyone find the right senior living places and we do not charge seniors or families for our service.

What should one expect?
We find senior living homes or assisted living communities anywhere desired that meet the criteria provided to us.  We explain what kind of assistance can be provided for the seniors depending on the level of care. We can look for senior living homes anywhere in San Diego County.  Most people prefer to live close to family and/or have us look for residential care places that cost the least.

What happens if we are not comfortable with the assisted living place that you have found for us?
No problem. We don’t stop our search until we help you find an eldercare or senior living home that is right for you.  We encourage you to visit the Dept. of Social Service, Community Care Licensing Division website, which explains how Assisted Living facilities are regulated:
